POST-ARRIVAL PLANT CARE

Why Multiple Processing Methods?

There are many different types of plants, and the plants we export are supplied at different growth stages. For example, tissue culture plantlets require proper acclimatization conditions after arrival. Mature succulents require suitable planting conditions after arrival. Large nursery plants usually have longer transportation times, so maintaining good plant health is especially important.

We have prepared a variety of detailed planting guides for your reference. More specific planting and care guides will be added in the future.

PLANTING & ACCLIMATIZATION FAQ

Common Questions After Plant Arrival

Which Planting and Acclimatization Guide Should I Follow?

This depends on the type of plants you purchased and their growth stage, such as tissue culture plants, succulents, agaves, seedlings, and others. You can refer to the corresponding plant guide section. We will gradually add guides for more plant varieties, and our acclimatization guides will continue to expand.

Should All Plants Be Handled the Same Way After Arrival?

No. Even plants of the same type may require different handling depending on their growth stage and root condition. For example, if you purchase bagged Monstera tissue culture plantlets, the handling method will be different from that for fully acclimatized Monstera seedlings. You should therefore follow the acclimatization or planting instructions for the corresponding plant variety and growth stage. If you have any questions, we will respond within 3–6 hours after receiving your message.

When Should I Unpack Plants After Delivery?

After receiving your plants, unpack them as soon as possible to check their condition. If you notice any abnormalities, please take photos and send them to us promptly.

Can Plants Be Planted Immediately After Shipping?

Not necessarily. Some basic preparation may be required first. For example, tissue culture plantlets need to have the nutrient solution cleaned from their roots, succulents may need dry or nearly detached leaves removed, and seedlings may require trimming if any roots have dried out. You can refer to our planting guides or contact us directly for assistance.

What Should I Do If Plants Arrive Stressed or Damaged?

If you notice any abnormalities or damage when opening the package, take photos showing the overall condition of the plants and the affected areas. Do not overwater or over-fertilize the plants. Keep affected plants separate from healthy plants, and contact us after completing your inspection to receive relevant advice.

Can ArkYun Plants Provide Planting and Acclimatization Support for My Order?

Yes. After you review our planting guides, our sales team can also provide 1–3 months of planting and acclimatization support.

What Information Should I Provide When Requesting Plant Support?

Please provide the following information: your order number and arrival date, plant name, current photos of the plants, growth condition and root condition, and any actions you have already taken.
