Tissue Culture Plants

5 Questions
What is tissue culture?

Plant tissue culture is an efficient method of plant propagation. Plant cells, tissues, shoots, buds, or other small pieces of plant material are cultured under sterile and controlled conditions on a prepared nutrient medium. It is widely used for the commercial mass propagation of selected plant varieties.

What plants can be propagated by tissue culture?

Many foliage plants, ornamental plants, flowering plants, nursery plants, and other commercially valuable plants can be propagated through tissue culture.
However, different species and varieties may respond differently to tissue culture. Their multiplication rate, rooting performance, growth rate, acclimatization performance, and other characteristics may vary.

How long can tissue culture plants stay in bag?

The holding time depends on the plant species, plantlet size, growth stage, condition of the culture medium, and storage environment. Temperature and light can also affect how quickly the plantlets continue to grow inside the sealed bag.
For many of our commonly supplied tissue culture plantlets, approximately 25–45 days can be used as a practical reference under suitable conditions. However, this is not a fixed period for every variety, and we recommend confirming the expected holding time for the specific plant and batch.

How many tissue culture plantlets are packed in each bag or container?

For our commonly used tissue culture bags, the number of plantlets per bag mainly depends on the plant variety and plantlet size. Most standard-sized plantlets are usually packed at approximately 8–10 plants per bag. Larger plantlets, such as some Agave varieties, may be packed at approximately 4–6 plants per bag.

Do tissue culture plants need acclimatization after arrival?

Acclimatization is generally required after arrival.
Most of the tissue culture plantlets we supply are transported in sealed tissue culture bags. Before shipment, the plantlets have already completed the required in vitro culture stage at the tissue culture facility and are ready for shipment. The plantlets are then removed from their original culture containers, the roots are properly cleaned, and the plantlets are transferred into tissue culture bags containing freshly prepared culture medium. The bags are then sealed and prepared for transportation.
After arrival, the tissue culture plantlets need to gradually adapt to the new growing environment. This mainly includes changes in air humidity, light, ventilation, and normal growing conditions. With proper environmental control and correct handling, the entire acclimatization process is usually manageable.

Wholesale Plants & MOQ

7 Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for wholesale plants?

Our standard minimum order quantity is 200 plants. For selected high-value or rare varieties, and for eligible trial orders, the MOQ may be reduced to as low as 50 plants. The final MOQ depends on the variety and specification.

Does the MOQ vary by plant variety or specification?

Yes. If certain varieties have a high unit price or require special specifications, the MOQ can be adjusted. However, the specific MOQ can only be confirmed after we review the variety.

Can I mix different plant varieties in one wholesale order?

Yes. We support mixed-variety orders, allowing you to purchase a broader assortment while reducing inventory pressure.

Can I place a trial order before buying in bulk?

Of course. For first-time customers, we can support a minimum order of 50 plants. This allows you to test at a lower cost whether the plants can arrive safely and reliably in your country.

How are wholesale plant prices calculated?

After reviewing our product catalog, please select the plants you are interested in and let us know the quantity and destination country. We will then calculate the product price, shipping cost, and any related document fees, if applicable.

Does the wholesale price change with order quantity?

Yes. Larger order quantities may qualify for better unit pricing, depending on the plant variety, specification, and available quantity.

Can different plant sizes or growth stages be included in one wholesale order?

Yes. Different plant sizes or growth stages can be included in the same order when available. However, plants at different stages may require different packing, shipping, and acclimatization conditions. For easier handling and more consistent growth after arrival, we generally recommend keeping the specification consistent within each variety whenever possible.

Plant Availability & Sourcing

18 Questions
What types of plants do you supply?

We can supply various flowering plants, foliage plants, tissue culture plants, succulents, agaves, and plants for urban landscaping. You can send us the specific plants you are interested in, and we will check with our production bases.

How can I check current plant availability?

Once you have prepared your plant list and contacted us, we will check the available stock with our production bases and then update you on the available quantities.

Can you supply plants that are not listed on your website?

Of course. Since we have a large number of plant varieties, not all of them are listed on our website. We therefore welcome you to contact us directly for our product catalog or send us the specific plant varieties you need. We will then check the variety and stock availability with our production bases.

Can you help source specific varieties, including rare or hard-to-find plants?

Yes. We can help check specific varieties, including rare or hard-to-find plants. You only need to tell us which varieties you are looking for. It is best to include photos so we can identify the plants more clearly. We will then check the availability of the corresponding varieties for you.

Can I send you a plant list for sourcing?

Of course. Plants are different from regular products because there are so many varieties. Our product catalog may not include every plant you need. Once you send us your plant list, we will help check and source the corresponding available stock.

What information should I provide for plant sourcing?

Please provide as much detailed information as possible, such as the plant varieties you need, quantity, destination country, whether you have an import permit, and your required delivery time. This will help us serve you more efficiently.

Can you source multiple plant varieties for one order?

Of course. We support mixed-variety orders to help minimize your inventory pressure while allowing you to add more varieties to your nursery. The order is still subject to the applicable MOQ requirements.

Can you source tissue culture plants, young plants, and nursery plants together?

Yes. We can source different plant stages within the same purchasing project. However, tissue culture plantlets, rooted young plants, and nursery plants may require different packing, shipping, and import arrangements. Depending on the destination country, plant condition, and shipping requirements, we may recommend separate packing or separate shipments.
